Well it has been 11 days of CRAZY!!! What a roller coaster ride. We were moving up to WA. We practicly had the U-Haul packed, seriously. My husband had the pen to the contract ready to sign & then we got blown away! HOLY CRAP! We had no idea of how much health care could cost!! Currently we pay about $1600 a year for full health benefits, including dental, vision etc. With the job we were going to sign onto, they would have jumped to over 3 times that amount, totally blowing out the raise we would have been taking to move there. No wonder so many Americans do not have health care. When we figured it down to the hour, it would have been .78 cents more an hour, less than $8.00 bucks a day. We could not move for that. I need more security than that, especially since we want me to remain a SAHM. M will keep looking at hospital's & other facilities in the area to see if we can still move. We really want to go to the PNW, I guess this was just not it. Damn we are so dissapointed. I was looking forward to the change & starting anew.
I did take a leave from LLL. I was going to do that no matter the move. I am glad I did. It was just getting to hard to work with Moms & babes. We have had alot of new babies coming & it was just to much. I also pulled out of my conference job. I am glad I did. I feel much better & much less stress on myself.
I had a beautiful day with M today. It was wonderful. I want more days like that!! I will have to make a point of it.
